The new cruise ship from MSC called, MSC Preziosa will feature one of the longest water slides at sea a long with other high end amenities.
USA Today reported that the Doremi Castle Aqua Park will have water with sprays, fountains and water pistols as well as the longest waterslide at sea, Vertigo. It starts at the 18th deck and goes down 394 ft.
"The slide will have colored sections so riders are treated to a strobe affect while they hurtle through the enclosed tube at speeds up to 20 feet a second. The minimum height for each rider is 47 inches, and the maximum weight, 330 pounds," reported USA Today.
The ship is expected to debut this spring. MSC's website states about Preziosa that it offers "the utmost in comfort, service and advanced, environmentally-friendly technology, the 13th addition to the MSC Cruises fleet completes our flagship MSC Fantasia class."
The cruise ship boasts three main restaurants and different bars on board that have different themes and serve everything from wine and food to speciatlty cocktails.
"Each one boasts a top gastronomic selection thanks to the variety of dishes and the high quality of the foods, from choice Italian meats, scrupulously controlled, to fresh fruit," states MSC's website about their restaurant selection. "Every product is fresh and carefully handled, such as bread baked on board with the passion and knowledge of the most distinctive boulangerie. Dishes range from traditional and tasty Mediterranean fare, to the most refined international recipes."
The ship also boasts entertainment programs including a theatre, casino and video game room.
