Crystal Cruises is debuting a July Arctic cruise featuring top culinary chefs. The cruise will feature a wine and food theme abroad the Crystal Serenity and will include a number of high profile chefs.
USA Today reported that the cruise will include Sven Erik Renaa, manager of the champion Norweigian National Culinary team, Gwénaël Laroche from Burgundy's Domaine Laroche winery and Marc Cummings, a Cordon Bleu master chef.
"Sven Erik Renaa is a top Norwegian chef and author who began his career at his mother's workplace, the Britannia Hotel," states Crystal Cruises website. "He worked in Oslo before moving to New York City to work for Park Avenue Café and David Burke. Relocating back to Oslo, he was a Chef at Brasseriet Hansken and Chef/Partner for the startup of Oro. Finally, after living in the Norwegian city of Stavanger since 2001 as a chef at Gastronomisk Institutt, Sven started his own Renaa Restaurant in 2008."
During the 15 day cruise starting on July 5 from Copenhagen to Stockholm the boat will stop in 10 ports.

The chefs will lead cooking demonstrations onship and wine tasting and on land there will be excursions to catch and eat king crab in Norway and tasting Arctic beer and visiting ice bars with vodka sipping.
