The iconic ball drop in Times Square has reveling New Yorkers and visitors from around the world ushering in the New Year together. The ball drop can be seen on TV's around the globe. This year's party begins with Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve. Headliners including Carly Rae Jepsen, Taylor Swift and Neon Trees will set the stage.
There will be a number of TV specials that will showcase the event live. The Times Square website will begin its live webcast at 6 p.m. EST and ending at 12:15 a.m. EST, after 2013 is welcomed.
EarthCam.com presents Times Square 24/7 and live coverage can be seen on ABC.
NBC's "New Year's Eve With Carson Daly" will feature the likes of Cassadee Pope, who won "The Voice" and Train.

New Year's Eve at the symbolic center of New York City has become more than just a celebration - it's a global tradition," says Times Square's official website.
At around 6:15 the Official Times Square Ball App will be introduced so everyone can watch the ball drop from their mobile devices. "Our host, Allison Hagendorf, introduces the Official Times Square Ball App and the ability for everyone to have a front row seat at the celebration by watching the official webcast on their mobile device; and, the opportunity for users of the app to get their photo on the giant Toshiba Vision Screen atop One Times Square directly below the New Year's Eve Ball," reports Times Square's website.
