A woman was arrested for slapping a TSA agent at a Florida airport after they tried to give her a pat down and told her her lotion container was too large.
Hyunjoo Kim, 39, of South Korea wasn't a fan of the Transportation Security Administration's daily practices at Orlando International Airport. When a female officer tried to give her a pat down, Kim slapped the woman.
However she got even more angry when other TSA agents told her that her two bottles of lotion did not follow the TSA's 3-1-1 rule. She didn't want the agents going through her bag so she continued to shove them.
"She swung several times at TSA Officer [Janine] Pagan and eventually struck her with an open hand on the right side of her face, causing redness and soreness," Kim's arrest report read, according to the Orlando Sentinel."Kim then turned and shoved TSA Officer [Pamela] Soto in the chest several times in an attempt to get her bag."
An Orlando police officer who was off-duty at the time showed up at the scene and found Kim screaming and cursing at the TSA officers. The woman was arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail. She was charged with two counts of battery on transit agents.
"TSA takes the safety of our Officers very seriously and any physical assault on our Officers will be referred for criminal prosecution," the TSA said in a statement, according to the Daily Mail.
Kim asked the police to not notify South Korean officials of her arrest.
