Before its wide release, "Logan" is already getting high praises from critics with its groundbreaking story that marks its place in the series of X-Men films. But critics who watched the film in advance we're not given what they want in a Marvel movie: a post-credit scene.
Collider has confirmed that "Logan," starring Hugh Jackman as his signature role Logan/Wolverine, will be having a post-credits scene just like the other Marvel movies. Its director James Mangold is said reluctant to follow any rulebook from Marvel or DC films except putting a post-credits scene to bring more hype to the audience.
The Playlist wrote that rumors about it surfaced for the past few days that 20th Century Fox subtly added a few more minutes of additional runtime to "Logan." And this is where people thought of the movie having a post-credit in the last minute.
Mangold and the film's cast members all denied that post-credit scene since it was not seen by critics at earlier screenings last week but it was confirmed now. They also deny it since most questions about the post-credit scene are about Wolverine's involvement with Ryan Reynolds' "Deadpool."
The question is, where will the post-credit scene take place? No one could still confirm if it's in the middle of the credits or at the very end.
Jackman, who once said that he is going to retire from the role that made him a household name, has confirmed again that he will end his commitment as Wolverine with "Logan." With this, Reynold's dream on having a "Wolverine/Deadpool" movie is already crushed.
The actor told Fandango that it was a bad timing to ask a Wolverine/Deadpool movie. Jackman said that he loves Ryan Reynolds and his portrayal as Deapool but he believes that its time to let the claws hang.
He also said that the crew of "Logan" had a hard time with him because of his lack of enthusiasm at first. Jackman added that this is his final film as Wolverine.
The movie opens on March 3rd. For the people out there who wants to see some post-credits scene on "Logan," hold on to your seats until the end.
