Fans of Bethesda's "Elder Scrolls" series have been waiting for so long for a proper sequel to "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." ESO wasn't considered to be Skyrim's rightful single-player experience, but are fans going to be learning more about "Elder Scrolls 6" anytime soon?
Despite its age, "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" still has tons of players up to this day and it is all thanks to the never-ending support for mods. Bethesda was also courteous enough to dish out a remastered version of the game with the "Special Edition," but as posted at Tech Radar, fans would be more interested in the subject matter regarding "Elder Scrolls 6" and interestingly enough, the odds of it happening have increased.
While there isn't any solid information about any potential release date window, it could be noted that Bethesda itself, confirmed the game development's existence. Marketing Executive Pete Hines already said that despite not being the main focus of the team right now, "Elder Scrolls 6" is definitely happening.
"This studio is not a vending machine," he said. "They're not a two-button vending machine, where first we press Elder Scrolls and then we press Fallout, and then we press Elder Scrolls and then we press Fallout. They're an incredibly talented studio of creative people. They've now made four games in a row, all of which were named Game of the Year, and they have a right to decide what they're interested in working on next and which direction they want to go."
However, Bethesda has also announced that it is currently working on two other unnamed titles besides "Fallout 4 VR." Nobody is still sure yet, whether one of these games is "Elder Scrolls 6," but regardless, we've seen Bethesda's works and rarely does any title falls short of being awesome. In the meantime, it is worth noting that "Skyrim" is coming out for the Nintendo Switch too, which will allow players to play the epic RPG game on the go and beyond.
