Chapter 6 of "Riverdale" won't air until March 2, but a preview has already been released. This chapter is titled "Faster, Pussycats! Kill! Kill!" and it may finally answer Jason's mysterious murder.
Chapter 5 will continue to lay out the relationships between the key players. It will be aired on February 23. The plot says that Archie attempts to refocus his energy on football, while Betty will dive deeper into her investigation about Jason's death. Veronica will form an unlikely friendship with Cheryl, and Hermione will turn to Fred after she got a cryptic message from the Southside Serpents.
There are a lot of fan theories as to who really killed Jason. According to Buzzfeed, the suspects include Alice and Hal Cooper, because they are hung up on Polly's "ruin," and blames Jason for what happened to Polly. Some say it's Betty, because she, too, may not have forgiven Jason for what happened to her sister. The list of suspects goes on and on, but these names are at the top.
ComicBook said that a lot has been heard about Betty's older sister, Polly, but no one has really met her yet. She has been institutionalized, and Jason may have been the reason, but Polly may not have known yet about Jason's murder. "Riverdale" chapter 6 will hopefully shed light on this.
The official description of chapter 6 says that Valerie's efforts to help Archie prepare for his big performance lead to a major fallout between her and Josie. Meanwhile, Betty and Jughead investigate Jason's death, and their quest brings them to a home for troubled youth. They will come face-to-face with Polly.
Also, "Riverdale" chapter 6 will show Veronica facing an unexpected betrayal, just as her relationship with her mother was on the upswing. On the other hand, Josie will deal with her own pressures at home after her overbearing dad returns for her performance at the variety show. Finally, it will be Hermione's first day at Andrew's Construction, and she will get close with Fred.
