"Clash of Clans" is due for a major update and it seems like fans are going to get it. Supercell gathered YouTube personalities covering "Clash of Clans" in Finland to supposedly test the new updates. Supercell also gave hints on this update in the latest Q&A the company participated in.
According to the website All Clash, Supercell is known to invite the YouTube personalities who form their "inner circle" before a new update is released. Supposedly, this "inner circle" is gathered by Supercell in their headquarters in Finland so that the game developer can bounce new ideas for "Clash of Clans" and gather their video materials for the Sneak Peak Week.
One of the aforementioned YouTube personalities, PowerbangGaming, posted a Tweet last Feb. 20 informing his followers that he is in Finland. PowerbangGaming is known to cover "Clash of Clans" in YouTube, further fueling the speculations that something big is up.
That said, "Clash of Clans" fans can look forward to Sneak Peaks of the next major update in the coming weeks. Fans of the game were clearly expecting a huge update during the December 2016 update and while Supercell introduced new features into "Clash of Clans," some of the fans thought the studio came up short with respect to fans expectation.
In other "Clash of Clans" news, Supercell revealed that a Clan Chest type event similar to that of "Clash Royale" will not be introduced in "Clash of Clans" in the coming update. In the latest Q&A hosted by Supercell, the game developer admitted that they have entertained the possibility of adding the Clan Chest type event in "Clash of Clans," but the studio is currently "totally focused on pumping out a super awesome update."
This "super awesome update" is a hint of the next major update in the game developed by Supercell. Couple it with the fact that the "inner circle" is in Finland, fans can expect "Clash of Clans" to roll out the major updates in coming weeks immediately following the Sneak Peak Week.
In the same Q&A, Supercell acknowledged that they are working on some ideas so as to provide more complex Events and troop combinations for future Events in "Clash of Clans. The studio also stated that a copy option, a feature that would allow players to instantly copy a base, is not yet on the horizon.
Supercell stated in the Q&A that the regeneration time for the Barbarian King and the Archer Queen will not be reduced. The studio also revealed their plans regarding the match-making algorithm and the issue on lopsided bases in "Clash of Clans."
With the Q&A and the gathering of the YouTube personalities in Finland, "Clash of Clans" fans can expect a huge announcement in the coming weeks. Tune-in to our website for the latest news and updates for "Clash of Clans."
