NORAD Santa Tracker 2012: Track Santa's Every Move This Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is here and Santa is on the move! As he delivers toys to kids around the world, many can keep track with the 2012 NORAD Santa Tracker.

Another Christmas is upon us and it's that time of the year again where Santa will visit the homes of billions to give toys to the good boys and girls of the world. The elves put the finishing touches on toys and the reindeer were prepped before taking off from the North Pole.

Santa has already paid a visit to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Thailand and parts of Russia, but he still has a long way to go to make sure kids around the world wake up to their gifts on Christmas morning. But of course he'll stop for cookies and milk and other treats.

To keep track of Santa, check out the NORAD Santa Tracker here.

The face of Santa shows exactly where he is at the moment. Viewers can track his every move. The red gift boxes mark the places that Santa has already visited. If you click on one of these, you can learn more about the city that he visited and some even have video footage of Santa's visit.

For those who have an iOS or Android device, a NORAD Tracks Santa App is also available. The app allows users to track Santa, follow live tweets, and read up on how he can deliver so many gifts overnight.

For those who can't wait to know when Santa will be at their house,NORAD volunteers are operating a hotline in which they'll tell callers when Santa is expected at their house.Call 877-HI-NORAD (877-446-6723) to find out!

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has been tracking Santa since 1955. To track the jolly man in the red suit, NORAD uses four high-tech systems to track Santa which include radar, satellites, Santa Cams and fighter jets.
