The third entry to Spike Chunsoft's popular visual novel game turned anime "Danganronpa" will finally be making its way outside Japan as the date for "Danganronpa V3" for North American release has been revealed. Fans and non-fans alike can look forward to the upcoming game as it will, once again make a mark on the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita history under its genre.
Last week, "Danganronpa" series writer Kazutaka Kodaka made the announcement regarding the much-awaited release date for the North-American version of "Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony." The announcement was made at the recent NIS America Press Event and according to Hardcore Gamer's report, the game is scheduled to be released on both the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita simultaneously on Sep. 26, 2017 on North America and will also be made available two days after in Europe.
"Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony" was initially released in Japan back on Jan. 12, 2017 and it was very fortunate that the gap between the releases wasn't that long. As described on its official site, long-time fans, the game will adapt to the exact same visual-novel formula that the first and second game implemented. It was like "Phoenix Wright" with all your friends dying. For first time players, playing the previous entries isn't a requirement as the game introduces an entirely new storyline independent of the past events.
The game brings the player to an entirely new school besides the popular Hope Peak's Academy, but the iconic evil bear Monokuma will be making its return to wreak havoc once more. The evil little thing forces the students to kill each other, but will a little twist called the "Class Trial." This would put everybody in the seats of the being a suspect or a murder, which mysteriously happens without anybody knowing.
The players will be given choices as the game will be all about it, which will help them find out the responsible party or individual. "Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony" follows the same dialogue heavy gameplay, but both the previous entries are well-received, warranting a sure buy for the third installment.
