‘Is It Wrong To Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?' English Dub Cast Announced By Sentai Filmworks

A collection of the anime series "Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?" is scheduled to be released on March 28. In preparation for the collection's release, Sentail Filmworks has released the names of the anime's English dub cast.

Earlier this week, Sentai Filmworks announced the English voices for Hestia (Luci Christian) and Bell Cranel (Bryson Baugus). A complete list of the English voice cast can be seen on Crunchy Roll and it is quite an impressive lineup.

"Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?", or sometimes called "DanMachi" for short, follows the story of Bell Cranel, a young 14-year old solo adventurer and the only member of the Hestia Familia. He makes ends meet by working hard every day in the dungeon, while also improving himself as an adventurer at the same time.

He takes up working in the dungeon as he believes it will allow him to meet (and rescue) girls in distress. However, he soon finds out that the girls he encounters along the way are not the damsels in distress he was hoping for. One of these ladies is the famed swordswoman, Ais Wallenstein, who ends up saving his life one time and with whom he eventually falls in love with.

While Bell continues to daydream about Ais, he is unaware that other women, both mortals, and deities alike, also begin to develop feelings for him as well. One of these deities is the goddess Hestia who also happens to be the one responsible for helping Bell develop into a capable adventurer. While she often grows jealous of Bell's involvement with other girls, most notably Ais, she is still completely devoted to him despite the fact that Bell only sees her as a family member.

"Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?" began as a light novel series in Japan in January 2013. It has since spawned 9 volumes, three manga adaptations, a spin-off light novel series, an anime series, and an OVA released on December 7, 2016. According to Anime News Network, an anime adaptation of its light novel spin-off series "Sword Oratoria" will be premiering in Japan this April.
