'Star Wars Battlefront' Latest News: Will Get New Content No More

Fans of the movie-based galactic shooter "Star Wars Battlefront" won't be getting anymore updates as Dice and EA have made an official announcement about the companies, having no more plans for any additional content. The focus, as everybody has expected, would already be shifted to next entry in the series.

In fact, a lot of people who have been following EA and Dice's updates regarding "Star Wars Battlefront 2" have already found out about its existence a few weeks ago. However, as Star Wars Gaming suggests, confirming that there would be no more updates planned for "Star Wars Battlefront" also equates to confirming that the 2nd game is already in the works.

As Gamemaster648 tweeted, he/she simply asked if there would be any hero blast in Star Wars Battlefront. The official EAStarWars twitter account has promptly responded to this, stating that there are no more plans on adding any new content update for the game. Some speculations suggest that the hero blast would be a feature that would be included in the 2nd game instead.

"Star Wars Battlefront 2" is scheduled to be released later in 2017 and for the meantime, fans could stick with the current Battlefront game as it is until then. The 2nd game was and supposed to have new elements, which were never included in the first game based on the recent earning report from EA. This includes the much-awaited single player campaign as well as taking advantage of the entire "Star Wars" universe (the original trilogy) as much as possible.

The last DLC pack titled "Rogue One: Scarif" for "Star Wars Battlefront" was released back in December 2016 and this was to tag along with the "Rogue One" movie. As for bug fixes and optimization, a lot of players are still requesting it from EA and DICE in order to keep the game alive until the next game arrives and these could still be possible.
