"The Flash" Season 3 and "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 will both be returning next week. Both shows will also be featuring a couple of returning characters that will be sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
In next week's episode of "The Flash", the highly intelligent telepathic primate, Gorilla Grodd, will be returning. The massive ape was first shown in the show's first season and viewers were given a look at his past and how he came to be. His intelligence was amplified by Harrison Wells - the Reverse Flash who was actually Eobard Thawne. Grodd has a bone to pick with the man who locked him up in a cage and experimented on him, so it makes a whole lot of sense for him to abduct the other Harrison Wells and imprison him.
The latest teaser trailer for the next episode of "The Flash" sees Barry travelling to Gorilla City to rescue Harrison Wells 2.0. According to Collider, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg had always wanted to give Grodd an arc in Gorilla City that would span at least two episodes and it will finally happen once the show returns next week. Some newly released photos from the episode also tease hints of sparks flying between Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Julian (Tom Felton).
Now moving on to "Legends of Tomorrow", Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) has been absent for a while now and viewers are wondering when he'll come back. In a recent update posted on Twitter by HollywoodNorth.buzz, Miller was spotted alongside Dominic Purcell (Heatwave) filming in Vancouver City. This means Captain Cold will most likely grace us with his presence in episode 16 of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Miller did not give any specific details on how Captain Cold is still alive, but did mention something rather suspicious. According to Miller, Leonard Snart (Captain Cold's real name) has no recollection of kissing Sara. Last season, Snart sacrificed himself to save the team, but shared a passionate kiss with Sara before apparently meeting his end.
