"League of Legends" will be receiving changes soon. Team Bonus and Underdog Bonus will have changes according to Riot.
On February 15, Riot disclosed that they working on EXP changes on "League of Legends" that are currently live on PBE. Riot claims that they are adding additional XP on champion takedowns. This is specifically aimed at players who significantly lag behind their team. In addition, Riot wants to give players an extra reward for outplaying your opponent if you are considerably behind in experience.
Teamwork Bonus
The latest changes in "League of Legends" Teamwork Bonus include Bonus XP added on champion takedown, be it, kill or assist for players who are behind their team in terms of level. The amount of bonus XP gauges with how far behind your team you are. This bonus XP will start rolling out when you are just over one full level behind.
Moreover, when you get two full levels' difference in "League of Legends," you get an additional ~25 percent of your share of the base kill experience. The bonus reaches its maximum value when you are 4 levels behind your team's average. During this time, you will receive an additional 60 percent of your share of the base kill experience. Riot put a 60 percent limit on the maximum size of the bonus to discourage extreme slingshotting, says PVP Live.
Underdog Bonus
Aside from the Teamwork Bonus, "League of Legends" is also working on the Underdog Bonus. This bonus is a reward from scoring a takedown on champions who are higher level than you are. Now, XP bonus for takedowns, be it, kill or assist, on champions higher level than you has been increased. There will be a 10 percent extra XP if you are 4 levels behind your opponent.
