"Stranger Things" season 2 is one of the highly anticipated Netflix series and fans are no doubt thrilled to have their first glimpse at Superbowl. But recently, promo images have been revealed which made the waiting period more exciting.
According to Daily Mail, seen in the latest photos is Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), helping her son Will (Noah Schnapp) to settle. It can be remembered that he just got out from escaping the upside down. Of course, it became a traumatic experience for the said character.
Some shots also showed that Will is set to return to school. He is still feeling uneasy after all the supernatural experience he has been through. As expected, his mother and the whole gang are worried about his current state.
Meanwhile, Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Billy's younger sister Max (Sadie Sink) also appeared in the images. Another image showed Will's older brother Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) inside a car. They were looking at the back of their vehicle, terrified. The two probably saw something they never wished to see. It might be another Demogorgon.
It remains a mystery if there is another unwanted creature to be featured. That is because the Netflix series' showrunner once said, "The Demogorgon was destroyed but evil was not."
The earlier mentioned source added that in "Stranger Things" season 2 once again encountered a cultural touchstone. During the release of Superbowl trailer for season 2, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) are wearing Ghostbusters outfit. This is while they stand outside a middle school located in Hawkins town.
It seems like lots of terrifying events is going to happen when season 2 returns. Moreover, reports revealed that fans have to wait until Halloween for the series' comeback. Since the franchise' achievement during the Screen Actors Guild Awards, its release became 2017'a highlight.
Harbour and the show creators ponder on their success. The actor who played Seriff Jim Hopper delivered a heartfelt speech to his co-stars. He urges them, especially the young ones to use their fame for good.
Also, creators Matt and Ross Duffer speak up about his future plans for the series. According to Highsnobiety, Matt said, "I want it to have a really finite ending. I do not want it to be one of those shows that run out of gas and they lose it because they are losing interest. You wane end when you are on top."
Ross also said that things will change once they move forward. Therefore, fans must all watch out for that. More "Stranger Things" season 2 updates will be revealed once details are available.
