"Alaskan Bush People" is facing yet another controversy, as the authenticity of the show is again questioned. There have been reports in the past that the Discovery Channel show is fake, and recently, another "evidence" surfaced.
People previously reported that the show really has come a long way, especially since their home was destroyed by a bear last year. However, other reports say that amid the family's popularity, the issue about the show being fake left a lot of fans shocked. Billy Brown and his wife Ami and seven children claim that they are born and raised in the wilderness - away from any town and technology. Discovery Channel also "confirmed" that all the Brown children were born and raised in the Alaskan wilderness.
However, a video from 2010 has recently surfaced, and it shows the second oldest brother Joshua "Bam Bam" Brown acting more like a city boy. In the clip, it can be seen that the now 32-year-old played arcade games with his brother Bear, 29, father Billy, 64, and other family members and friends. During another scene, Bam drives a car down the road. This is a complete opposite from what the network and the family claimed, and this leaves a serious doubt a lot of people.
AOL has listed other reasons why a lot of people raised authenticity questions about the show. It is said that the family patriarch, Billy, is not originally from Alaska but from Texas. Reports say that Billy and Ami moved their family to the state in August 2012.
Meanwhile, the lovelife of two of the sons is also questioned. It has been reported here previously that Bam and Noah have found love, but according to rumors, this is not something new at all because even before Season 6 started, both Bam and Noah already found love. "Alaskan Bush People" is yet to comment on these new allegations.
