Senator Al Franken recalls his past at "Saturday Night Live" that it was never been that good with Donald Trump skits. And the senator added that he should know since he has been an original writer for the show.
There had been a performer-turned-politician in DC on Sunday where he gave his felicitations for SNL's latest spoofs for Trump. He also had praised Melissa McCarthy who has turn into Sean Spicer. There had been proofs in numbers as SNL had the highest ratings in six years as of that week.
As per TMZ, Senator Al also had remembered on his old role in SNL being the self-help guru named Stuart Smalley. However, it still doesn't sound like he is interested in going back into the character of the show. Meanwhile, after reminiscing the past with "Saturday Night Live" spoofs with Trump, the senator also talked about senators' concern over the president.
In the recent reports, it has been said that few of the republicans in the Senate were worried about Trump. According to Franken, he had heard a lot of concerns about his temperament. Some of the senators were thinking that the president is no longer right mentally; however, not majority of them but the few.
Further, Franken added that there are three to five million people who had voted illegally and that there were claims as well that mass voters fraud had cost him with lots of popular vote victory against Hillary Clinton. Although Clinton had won nearly three million more ballots than of the president-elect, The Guardian reported.
As Franken was interviewed, he even more mentioned about concerned in the Senate that behind those closed doors there was a range that will say that the president is no longer in good mental condition, and some of which were harsher. Though despite the commentaries, the senator added that those were not fair and cheap.
