Twenty veteran players come together for "Survivor: Game Changers." The returning players will battle it out for the title, and a million-dollar prize to boot. The new footage says "Their names are legendary. Twenty of Survivor's most risk-taking, groundbreaking players of all time return to rewrite the playbook again."
The all-star Season 34 is filmed in Fiji, the same island where the movie "Cast Away" was filmed. The names of the contestants are out, but Parade said that further details about what to expect is yet to be revealed. Host Jeff Probst gave some teasers, though, about how the game will be.
Probst said that there's going to be a big change when it comes to hidden immunity idols for this season, and it's going to throw even veteran players for a loop. The title says "Game Changers," so expect for the show to be changed constantly, Probst added. The game will have no consistency, he assured. "Usually there's a theme. You have to find them in a certain way or work a certain amount of effort to get it. Not this time," Probst said.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly said that there were a lot of players for "Survivor: Worlds Apart," but Hali Ford is definitely not one of them. Many were surprised when Hali's name came up on the list of contestants for "Survivor: Game Changers."
Turns out, Hali herself didn't expect to be a part of the show as well. When asked why she is on the show, she said, "I don't know why I'm back. I think I played a horrible game my first time around, but I'm glad to be here and I'm about to change things up."
She did assure her fans that this time will be different because her brain is going to be on instead of off. She added that she is a smart person, but she didn't really think in the last game, but this time around, she will use her actual abilities and devise a plan to win. "Survivor: Game Changers" premieres March 8 on CBS.
