Three triplets are in jail in Michigan and could all find themselves in the same correctional facility. ABC News reported that 21-year-old's Deshawn and Juronn Shrivers were convicted of unarmed robbery in Saginaw County, Michigan. Their third brother, Devon was convicted in 2011 for multiple weapons charges as well as a home invasion.
Vibe reported that police claimed that the triplets are all part of the "Sunny Side" gang in Saginaw, Michigan. Devon has been in prison since 2011 and will likely stay there until 2042, reported Vibe.
Saginaw Police Sgt. Terry Carpenter said to ABC News, "They have been members of the 'Sunny Side' gang for years, and that includes siblings and family members."
Deshawn and Juronn were originally charged with conspiring to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and two counts of possessing a firearm."The charges stemmed from an incident where the two were arrested and accused of robbing a man by the name of Johnnie C. Whittington at gunpoint," reported News One.
Their older brother Sanford, 30, pleade guilty in 2001 for obstructing and resisting police, felony weapons charges and assault with intent to do great bodily harm. He has since been released in August.
"The Saginaw P.D. is elated by the recent convictions of Deshawn and Juronn Shivers and hope that they receive a stern sentence by the sentencing circuit court judge," the police said in a statement to ABC News, "Additionally, we thank the Buena Vista Police Department in their hard work producing the evidence needed to ensure a conviction in their most recent crime."
