Samsung Galaxy S8 Latest News & Update: Leaked Images & Final Design Summary

Consumers are possibly just a few more months away from the latest Samsung handset flagship, the Galaxy S8. Here are some of the most important and notable details, which have been leaked so far with certain specs that already got confirmed.

In a 10-minute video posted by EverythingApplePro with courtesy leaked images by @OnLeaks, the Samsung Galaxy S8's final look and features could have possibly leaked and there are several claims regarding this information to be correct. After all, the smartphone is just a few months away.

The first confirmed information is the logo, or possibly, the naming scheme for the succeeding models. The logo states "Galaxy S8+," so this could hint the there would be no more edge versions later. The S8+ is believed to be having 6.2" QHD screen while the standard Galaxy S8 will have 5.8" with both displays being SAMOLED.

In terms of storage, there would also be two options to choose from, which will be 64 and 128 GB internal storage. Both models are expandable depending on the consumers' preferences, which can have an additional 128 GB of external memory expansion.

According to @OnLeaks recent tweets, the camera bump issue for some consumers will also be eliminated. The Galaxy S8 will have a reduced 0.2 mm bump on its camera lenses, which is 0.8 mm less than the former Galaxy S7, virtually removing the odd-looking part.

Along with the rear camera, the fingerprint sensor would also be likely to be placed on the back of the handset, which is also hinted by numerous leaked images of the phone casing for the Samsung Galaxy S8. This slams any possibility of the fingerprint sensor, being part of the actual screen.

Other notable features include a Samsung-created voice assistant called "Bixby." The artificial intelligence is believed to be serving as a direct competitor to the iPhone's Siri, which is sort of, lagging behind Alexa and Google Voice.
