Tickets for the 12-12-12 concert benefitting Hurricane Sandy Victims cost between $150 and $2,500 and sold out in minutes. However, for the cost of a child's movie ticket, fans can watch the epic music event at movie theaters in New York, New Jersey, and all across the United States.
Not everyone can go to the 12-12-12 concert, but it is an event that should not be missed. Why? Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Who, Kanye West, Eddie Veder, Roger Waters, Chris Martin, Eric Clapton, Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys and Billy Joel will be taking the stage in Madison Square Garden as they raise millions for those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.
It is expected that two billion people will watch the amazing music event. For those who can't physically go, it will be live streamed online, broadcasted on television and the radio, and will also be shown in movie theaters across the country.
The sold-out concert event will be shown in more than 200 Cinemark, Century and Tinseltown movie theaters starting at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT. The doors open at 6:45 p.m/ 4:35 p.m. and the concert should end around 11:30 p.m.
Admission is the price of a child's movie ticket and all the proceeds will go towards the Robin Hood Relief Fund which will help those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.
