Going on your first ever beach vacation? Don't have any idea on what essential stuff to bring in your suitcase?
No worries! A tropical holiday in a beautiful beach is a dream come true. Forget all about your problems and responsibilities for a while and lose yourself in the ocean waves, white sands, and delicious tropical cocktails. As such, here are some of the most important stuff to bring on your trip that will make your beach holiday a hundred times better:
After sun lotion. Trust me, in the coming weeks after your beach holiday, your skin will thank you for taking the time to slather on after sun lotion or beach moisturizer after wading in the ocean. Although it wouldn't really avoid sunburn, it helps in keeping your skin hydrated after submerging in the salty waters of the beach. Dry skin is not pretty, you know.
Extra pair of sunglasses. It isn't uncommon for us to lose our sunglasses during a holiday trip. To be on the safe side, bring an extra pair of sunglasses. In the throng of all the activities on the beach we sometimes lose track where we put our sunglasses for a short while, and bringing an extra pair will save you from all the frustration.
Beach blanket. Fancy an hour or two of sunbathing to get your much-coveted tan lines? Always bring a beach blanket so you could pick whatever spot that you want on a beach, have a lie-down, and let the sun do its magic while you're reading a good book or sipping some delicious beach cocktails. After your trip, your new dose of colors in your skin will make your friends green with envy.
Sunblock. When going to the beach, sunblock is the most essential thing you need to have. This is to help you avoid getting sunburn after hours of swimming in broad daylight, because if you don't, things will not be pretty for you at the end of the day. Try buying one with a high SPF, and another one that is specially made for your face. Investing in a good sunblock is not a bad idea, I promise.
Powerbank/extra batteries. A beach holiday will be more worth it if you record all the unforgettable memories, of course! But unfortunately, the battery on your phone and GoPro doesn't last forever, and it's so hassling to go back to your hotel just to charge. Bring a power bank for your phone so you could upload photos endlessly on Snapchat, and an extra battery or two for your GoPro, if you have one.
