'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' Latest News Reveals Might Not Launch This Year

"South Park: The Fractured But Whole" might not happen soon this year. The highly anticipated game has met another delay and this time, it came from Ubisoft itself.

Ubisoft has some bad news for "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" fans. Recently, the company has disclosed that "South Park's" second upcoming video game's release will be rescheduled. "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" was first scheduled for release last year and then moved to March of this year.

It was once again delayed, and the sad part is that we may not see it for more than a year. The information came from Ubisoft's third quarter financial report. In the report, it was stated that "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" will be released some time in the company's 2017-2018 fiscal year.

In September 2016, information about the video game "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" was first scheduled for release in December 2016 came out. However, Ubisoft had to push that release date back, and instead get the game in the first quarter of 2017. The statement was later clarified with an actual launch date March 31, 2017, which is a month from now.

The postponement was not that disheartening as three months was acceptable to most fans. With the latest information revealed by the company, something is amiss and the most possible that fans could get access to the title is this April or March 2018. To make the situation worse, Ubisoft chose not to disclose any detail about this recent change in "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" release window.

The previous delay explanation from Ubisoft had been satisfactorily generic that left fans and gamers clueless with Ubisoft just saying it needed more time to polish the game. According to Slash Gear, Ubisoft might soon release an official statement to clarify the most recent information about "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" release delay. Until then, all fans can do is cross their fingers, and hope that the highly anticipated game does not end up getting canceled.
