'Hunter X Hunter' Chapter 361: Fans Of Yoshihiro Togashi Manga Still Waiting For Long Hiatus To End

"Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361 is highly anticipated by many fans especially that chapter 360 had been released for a long time already. Until now, there is no announcement about the anime's release date yet and fans are left wondering why the manga's release is delayed.

Rumors circulated that creator Yoshihiro Togashi is suffering from severe back pains which hinder him from finishing the manga. It is said that he could no longer proceed with the drawings at the moment.

Because of that, there were speculations that a group of writers and manga artists was tasked to continue working on "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361. Apart from that, there are also stories saying that his wife Naoko Takeuchi, who created "Sailor Moon," will take over. But all of these are mere speculations.

According to Racing Junky, Togashi was given a deadline by Weekly Shonen Jump to finish the manga by February 2017. The outlet added that the publisher told Togashi that if he fails to finish it this month, new writers will work on it. The publisher is worried that the interest of the fans is declining because of the long hiatus.

Meanwhile, Togashi was once spotted at an event attended by manga and anime artists in Japan. He appeared well and happy. Because of his appearance, fans hoped that he will resume in drawing and in creating the manga. But it appears that it isn't the case since there isn't any news about the return of "Hunter X Hunter."

The long hiatus of "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361 isn't new for the manga and anime. Comicbook noted that back in March 2016, the manga resumed following a two-year break. Fans were pleased especially with the return of Gon Freecs.

Although it began its serialization in April 2016, it faced another hiatus in July which was confirmed by Weekly Shonen Jump. No return date was determined by the publisher. With that, fans are still waiting for the release up to this day. When will the long hiatus end?
