Executive producer and co-creator shared a photo on Twitter of the intricate wrap party cake. It is the sweet replica of the Mystic Falls. King shared a photo of her daughter aching to lick the icing on the cake.
Alaric, played by Matthew Davis posted a video of him on his Instagram account telling about the last day of shooting. He thanked the fans as he emotionally blew a kiss to the camera.
Kat Graham said earlier that the ending of the show has not sunk in her consciousness as reported by Huffington Post. She hardly believes it is really closing the curtain for the show. She revealed that "The Vampire Diaries" opened so many doors for her career. She made a video of some of her character Bonnie's unforgettable moments on the show.
The lead star that played Damon Salvatore Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley also used their accounts to thank those who showed untiring support to the show. Nina Dobrev who played a major role as Elena Gilbert and will be returning for the finale retweeted a photo from Kayla Ewell.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 airs at 8/7c on The CW every Friday. Watch out for the final episode as Nina Dobrev will return to give an ending to the Elena Gilbert character.
