Those who felt that getting a Nintendo Switch is risking for another Wii U-like failure can have a bit of increased faith in the upcoming console. From what seemed to be a lackluster lineup of games to more than a hundred of titles, the latest console is looking to correct everything that was wrong with the Wii U or is it?
A quick look of how the lineup of games has significantly increased in just a matter of month is quite impressive for the Nintendo Switch. As reported at Mobipicker, the upcoming console used to have no more than 30 plus games scheduled to be released. As promised by the company, this quickly increased in numbers and ended up having 105 games waiting to be released.
Press-Start also stated that Nintendo opted to launch the console with more titles. From the former five launch titles, the Switch will now ship on March 3, with more than 10 games available for it and this is not a bad start at all based on a normal console launch.
The scare of getting the same Wii U disaster surfaced when the official Nintendo Switch presentation last month indicated that not a lot of games are to be released yet. The weak launch titles with the exception of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" also didn't help.
A quick comparison of how better, the games lineup is now can be seen by simply checking this image as well as the updated one, which can also be seen right here. Note-worthy titles like "I am Setsuna" and "Binding of Isaac" joins the launch date and games like "Sonic Project" and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" are just some titles that fans can really look forward to in playing on their hybrid Nintendo Switch consoles.
Still, this won't erase away the fact that Nintendo Switch accessories are somewhat way too expensive, but as with every platform in the video game industry history, it always boils down to the selection of games available. Getting used with certain control settings would come as second nature eventually.
