Harry Potter Fans, Rejoice! London Bar Serves 'Sweet Herbaceous' Butterbeer

All Harry Potter fanatics have been dreaming of getting a taste of butterbeer, the famous drink often mentioned in the Harry Potter book, found in the village of Hogsmeade. In real life, the most famous place to get butterbeer is in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a Harry Potter-themed amusement park of Universal Orlando.

Although several butterbeer recipes have been springing up in the internet, most are still skeptical and want to taste the real thing.

In the books, the flavor of butterbeer is described as "a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch." The drink has only a slight alcohol content, but in a bar in London, fans may get to taste a more alcoholic version of butterbeer.

Found in a bar called "The Blind Pig" in Soho, this butterbeer cocktail will really make you feel like you're part of the wizarding world. According to Cosmo, this drink is made by "blending Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Kamm & Sons, thyme, butterscotch, citrus, bitters, and beer".

The official name of this drink is called Half a Pint o' Buttah, and the bar's staff has described the taste as "sweet herbaceous beer". For $13, fans can get drunk on these famous wizarding cocktails.

In The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the butterbeer served there is non-alcoholic. Customers can choose to drink their butterbeer cold, or "frozen as a slush with a butterscotch-like foam on top."

Starbucks also apparently serve their own version of butterbeer guests can request through their secret menu. It is called "Butterbeer Frappucino", which is made by "Creme Frappucino with 3 pumps each of caramel and toffee nut syrup and caramel drizzle on top."

The aforementioned butterbeer cocktail in The Blind Pig is not yet available as of the moment. Harry Potter fans in London should standby for any upcoming announcements so they can don on their wizarding robes and have fun night getting drunk on this drink not fit for muggles.
