"One Piece" episode 774 took viewers to an all-new fantasy location where they were introduced to Zunisha - a massive elephant thousands of years old and literally carries an entire nation on its back. The Straw Hat Pirates haven't really spent a whole lot of time wondering why such a gigantic animal even exists.
In episode 773, Luffy and Shirahoshi were able to hear the voice of the gigantic elephant when it looked like no one else did. This goes back to when the two were able to hear the voices of the Sea Kings and prevent Noah's fall. This is also reminiscent of a special power that the crew of Gold Roger possesses, which is the "power to hear the voices of all things." According to Anime News Network, Luffy and Shirahoshi's ability to hear all things is comparable to many other powers in the "One Piece" universe, but there is always one single detail that helps keep things mysterious.
Before Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats are able to arrive on Zou, Jack and his crew have wounded Zunisha by damaging one of its legs with cannon fire. The millennia-old animal was in great pain and was almost on the verge of collapsing from the continuous barrage of cannon fire from Jack's crew. The discomforts caused by the injuries sustained by the giant elephants cause the island nation of Zou to experience earthquakes.
The animal is more than capable of thwarting off its attackers, but it cannot act unless it is given an order to do so. Momonusuke gives the order to Zunisha to "make Jack go away" as he is able to hear and communicate with the beast. Zunisha wastes no time in disposing of its attackers as it eradicates Jack and his entire fleet with a single swipe of its massive trunk.
With the threat out of the way, "One Piece" 775 will now be focusing on treating the injuries Zunisha sustained from the attack. According to Games & Anime, the latest spoilers suggest that Tony Tony Chopper will play an important role in treating the injured animal. He will combine the pharmaceutical knowledge of Torino kingdom with that of Sakura kingdom's to help heal Zunisha's wounds.
