‘Gabriel DropOut’ Recap: Girls Kick-off Summer Vacation; Gabriel, Vigne Meet

"Gabriel DropOut" is a Japanese manga series which was written and illustrated by Ukami. The series has begun its serialization in ASCII Media Works magazine in December 2013. It is a kind of television adaptation by Doga Kobo which has begun airing in Japan from January 2017.

The plot of the story focused on a passing school in heaven were graduating angels were sent down to Earth. These angels must learn about humans and must guide them towards the correct path in order to become true angels. Gabriel White Tenma, one of the top angels of her class will become addicted to video games upon his arrival on earth, and this turns him into complete slob as a result, My Anime List reported.

During the first segment of the anime series, the girls had a kick off summer vacation with a day trip to a nearby beach. It was not a surprise, however, that these characters were out of their usual surroundings yet don't change much of their behaviour. Gabriel always moans of having outdoor activities while Raphael was having fun at Satania's expense.

Vigne has acted as the mother of the group and does her best to hold everything together and intact. Further than usual, the gags are united and together, while most of them were revolving around Santania who has been injured and humiliated.

As per Anime News Network, the second segment of the story begun under Gabriel and Vigne's first meeting. They had a flashback as to how their last summer vacation went. While Gabriel and Santania scrambled in getting their summer homework done, Vigne also acted as the storyteller.

Further, the story finds that Vigne was lost while trying to find her apartment just shortly after coming down to Earth; while Gabriel gladly helps the good-natured demon in locating her new residence and request her to become her friend. "Gabriel DropOut" is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and gets updated with its series.
