The creator of "Game of Thrones" George R.R. Martin takes pride in his new compilation of short stories. "Book of Swords" is composed of 15 short stories. It is based on the GOT world and will feature only one of Martin's stories. It is a collaboration with Gardner Dozois, his editing partner he has worked with for years.
Matthew Hughes, Scott Lynch, Ellen Kushner, Ken Liu, Danial Abraham, K.J. Parker, Robin Hobb, C.J. Cherryh, and Elizabeth Bear are some of the contributing authors. Garth Nix, Cecelia Holland, and Peter S. Beagle had their stories included in "Book of Swords" as reported by Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
George R.R. Martin book "The Winds of Winter" has new chapters to read but on his blog only. He hopes to finish the whole book and release it this year.
