Middleton and Kardashian: Kim Wants Kate to Wear her "Kardashian Kollection" Frocks [VIDEO]

Kim Kardashian, who started a fashion line, "The Kardashian Kollection" with her sister's Khloe and Kourtney, was in London recently to promote the line at the Westfield center. The socialite, model, reality tv star hopes that Kate Middleton will don some of her frocks.

The Dailystar.co.uk reported a source saying "While she was in London last week, Kim had several free dresses from her Kardashian Kollection sent to Princess Kate. She hoped Kate might be seen wearing one of the designs out in public, which would give their fashion credentials a huge boost."

The source added,"The Kardashians want to be as big in the UK as they are in America, and think associating themselves with the Royals, especially Kate, will help them achieve that."

Kim, 32, and her older sister Kourtney were in London attending a launch party for the extension of their line in England for the retailer, Dorothy Perkins. Kim said to Entertainmentwise.com about the Princess, "'Kate seems like a really sweet person and she's a princess. We love her sense of fashion. She could wear our looks and team it with one of her hats.''

Kim said to Marie Claire of her international debut, 'I think we always had a big end goal of having our own line but we thought we would just sell it from our own store. ''We had no idea we could make a line and then go international. It's a big dream for us.''

Tabloid, the National Enquirer says Middleton is having none of it. A reported source said to the tabloid, "The Duchess gets free clothes sent to her every day of the week, and she always sends them back. The royal family is very careful about not being seen to endorse any product. It's just not proper. Quite apart from that, the Kardashian outfits just aren't appropriate for a duchess."

"Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequined jacket!"
