"Vikings", one of the most historical series is set to introduce a new character role in the person of Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. He is expected to play as a worthy opponent to Ragnar Lodbrok's son Ivar the Boneless and is expected to come out on the next week's episode.
His character will be known as Headmund in the upcoming season 4 finale. Viewers will definitely be excited on who Headmund will be in the coming episodes and on how his character will arrive in the finale season. According to the series creator Michael Hirst, the antecedents of the Knights Templar will be those people that are really religious but yet, they still put armour as they fought.
The creator also added that Rhys-Meyers' character as Headmund will probably be against Ivar and it seems like however, their encounter will not happen yet in the next season; however, his character will appear in the episode of season four, Ace Showbiz reported. The film creator added that he is really perfect for this crazy and religious kind of character.
On the other hand, Hirst is also on the deep production of more episodes on the season 5. And thus, he had found the character of Headmund on his research while planning to make twenty more episodes. He was looking at the history books and he just came across at the warrior bishops, EW reported.
Rhys-Meyers who will be playing this character will be expected to portray being a man of Wessex. His whole life will be about deep passionate commitments. It can be remembered that the film creator and Jonathan previously played together on "Showtime's The Tudors" and Hirst is definitely thrilled on the energy that this guy will bring into the series.
"Vikings" fourth and final season will air on February 1, 9 P.M. on History. Viewers should watch out for its new episode title, "The Reckoning".
