Fans of the on-going series "Dragon Ball Super" is about to get some seriously action-packed battles with episode 77 and its hint of what the "Universal Survival" arc will be about. The last filler episode serves as the silence before the thundering roar of the martial arts tournament that will span between multiple universes.
As reported by Comic Book, it was apparently Goku, who have started what seems to be a harmless friendly martial arts competition between the greatest fighters from different universes to a threat to their planet's existence.
In the last episode, Goku and Kuririn have been training together and it didn't come as surprise that Goku is looking forward to facing familiar faces in the battlefield again like Frieza and Cell. Kuririn, on the other, wasn't too enthusiastic about facing these adversaries as he wasn't doing pretty good against them.
As posted by Todd Blankenship, expert insider and translationist, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 77, which will be airing on Feb. 5 will finally introduce the Omni-King. Goku, which is usually all hooked up about fighting and not really about thinking, slightly taunted the Omni-King that even Beerus and Whis got a bit worried about.
Based from the plot's synopsis, Goku's request will be granted by the Omni-King and a universal martial arts tournament will commence. However, this will also pave way to the beginning of the universal destruction.
Beerus and Whis are quite knowledgeable regarding Zen-Oh, which Goku is not. Learning about Omni-King's boundless capabilities, however, aren't stopping the fighter from reaching out the greatest challenge in all possible universes despite not know what he's actually bargaining for.
The final filler episode will be airing as scheduled on Crunchyroll this coming Jan. 29 at 9:00 am. The first episode for the "Universal Survival" arc premieres the week after that for "Dragon Ball Super."
