‘La La Land’ Actor Ryan Gosling’s Wax Statue Criticized As Creepy

The Oscar's nominee Ryan Gosling's wax statue is getting all the attention that overshadowed the achievements of his film. The wax figure which was unveiled in Berlin, Germany looks creepy. This has been the observation of most onlookers who are expecting to see the hunk's handsome face.

The Madame Tussauds creation missed the mark and was not made perfectly according to Huffington Post. Compared to the other celebrities that have replicas in Berlin, and even his own in London, England, this recent one did not look like him at all. The one in England looks more like Gosling, unlike this recent one that was described as creepy.

Madame Tussauds Berlin website promoted the wax figure and allows selfies with it. The site says that "You can hear his heartbeat." After the unveiling, Twitter users were quick to comment that Ryan Gosling's wax figure looks nothing like him. #cantcreateperfection hashtag was even used by one Twitter user.

If Ryan Gosling's statue was not done perfectly, his film with Emma Stone is perfect. It was nominated 14 times at the 89th Academy Awards. The box office performance is also very satisfactory despite the stiff competition.

Eva Mendes' husband won the Best Actor trophy and also his female counterpart co-actor Emma Stone. The 2017 Golden Globes Awards favored "La La Land" as the Best Picture. The film is about a jazz pianist who dreams of having his own bar and a struggling actress. In pursuit of their dreams, they met and eventually fell in love.

Rotten Tomatoes review critics claim that the movie offers hope and magic into the chaotic world. One critic also wrote, "A beautiful film that evades corniness and low punches with spontaneous moments of realism and otherwise, is extremely effective as a comedy, romance and musical."

Everything about "La La Land" is beautiful but for Ryan Gosling, Madame Tussauds replica of him is not beautiful at all.
