‘Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions’’ New Footage Gives More Look Into The New Character Sera, U.S. Release Won’t Be Censored

Sera gets an extended look in the latest footage of "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions," giving fans a glimpse of what they can expect from this character. The new movie won't be censored as well.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Page shared the video entitled "Sorry I didn't hear you come in" in their Facebook Page. The video shows Yugi Muto's grandpa leaving the store, while Yugi checks out his dueling cards.

The footage shows the Yugi holding the Dark Magician Card while saying that he couldn't "build a deck without this card." The character adds that the card has gotten him "out of more dueling jams" than he can count.

Yugi was startled when a girl suddenly said that the golden box where he puts his cards in is lovely. The camera zooms out to reveal the girl to be Sera.

Yugi agreed with Sera and said the box is very special, as that's where he keeps the cards that are special to him. Sera agreed but also said that he probably meant "extra special" to him and "extra special to the Pharaoh."

A report from ComicBook said that Yugi was startled with Sera's statement, considering he had already parted with the Pharaoh's spirit a long time ago. Atem or Yami is the name of the Pharaoh.

This latest movie will be getting an English dub and will premiere in the U.S. on January 27. One thing the fans could probably expect is that the U.S. version won't be censored, according to ComicBook report earlier this month.

The report said that anime fans in the U.S. are usually frustrated with the censorship that the English version of anime movies or series. The official "Yu-Gi-Oh!" YouTube channel, though, responded to comments in the "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" trailer that the movie won't be getting many changes.

The channel said, "the only visual changes to the English theatrical version are cards and signs." Check out a sneak peek of "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" in the video below.
