Eva Air, home of Hello Kitty themed Airplanes, has now recently expanded the Kitty trend to trams around Hong Kong.
CNN Go reported that in its latest marketing campaign Eva Air has transformed two of Hong Kong's trams into Hello Kitty vehicles that take passengers around the city.
The Taiwaneese airliner operates a fleet of Hello Kitty themed planes with even the food being Hello Kitty themed and their new trams have two adorable themes --"Hello Kitty Loves Apple" and "Hello Kitty Happy Music Time," CNN Go reported.
The trams will run until December 10 fifiteen times a day in Hong Kong. Passengers are also eligable to enter a competition where they submit photos of the trams on Eva Air's Facebook Page. Once entered they could win a free ticket from Hong Kong to Taipei.
Eva Air has a total of five Hello Kitty flights and the airliner operates between Taipei, Europe, America and the rest of Asia.
"The passengers over the world love the Hello Kitty jets since launched -- All the Hello Kitty jets have over 85 to 90 percent occupancy," said Liwen Liu PR officer of Evergreen Group, the parent company of EVA Airways to the UK's Daily Mail.
Eva Air is in talks with Sanrio, which is Hello Kitty's parent company to possibly launch two more planes. They are outfitted with everything from Hello Kitty themed soap dispensers, utensils, paper cups and check in stations at the airport.
