'Pokémon Sun and Moon' Poké Bank Features, Limitations And Problems

As promised by Nintendo, the Poké Bank feature is scheduled to be released on "Pokémon Sun and Moon" on January. It's just a few more days before the update is overdue, but not a lot of players are keen on how it works and how exactly it will affect other pokémon from other games. Here are some of the common issues and potential problems for using the upcoming tool.

Just a recently reported at Polygon, Nintendo haven't provided a single hint of when the Poké Bank feature will finally be implemented in January. It is just a few more days before the second month of the year arrives and fans are somewhat getting tired of waiting.

The official announcement was made back in September of 2016 and since then, not a single update was provided by Nintendo to the fans up to this day. Players have started asking around Twitter, sending tweets over to the official page for "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

As if things weren't starting to get hairy, some fans are also missing a particular thing about the Poké Bank feature. This matter was brought up by YouTube user, Austin John. The Bank feature won't be quite the same with the previous version with the other generations.

Before, transferring pokémon between different generations were so simple. In the upcoming Poké Bank for Generation seven (Sun and Moon,) transferring from the sixth generation and lower to either Sun or Moon is a one way ticket and there's no going back.

To some, this may not be much of a big deal, but doing experiments will be costly, especially for those with precious save files from generation five and generation six. These transferred pokémon won't also get access to a huge number of mega stone, which currently are not yet in the game along with the limitation of not being able to transfer items as well.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" and its Poké Bank feature is a nice service, letting players bring their much-loved pokémon from the previous games for a very affordable annual subscription of $4.99. However, there's still no word on whether it will even come out in January.
