The "Clash Royale" Draft Challenge event has arrived. The popular game from Supercell, developer of "Clash of Clans", has added another challenge.
According to gaming website Touch Arcade, the new event may seem new but it is new only in name. It is essentially the return to the game of an older challenge.
Supercell introduced the Draft Challenge which will seem familiar to players. The new event is basically the same event that player knew before as the Crown Duel Challenge. Since the only thing players do is draft cards, the new title fits the event better.
Technology website iDigitalTimes reported that the Draft Challenge is a limited-time challenge that will last for four days. It will have two game options, Classic Draft Challenge and Grand Draft Challenge. Players who want to try the Draft Challenge for free can play in the clan Friendly Battle section in "Clash Royale".
The Friendly Battle will be happening between January 19 and 23 where clanmates and friends can play with each other. From January 20 to 23, the Classic Draft Challenge and the Grand Draft Challenge will take place.
It costs 10 gems to participate in the Classic Draft Challenge. This will give players the chance to win 2000 gold coins and 100 cards. It costs 100 gems to enter the Grand Draft Challenge. Players will have the chance to win 22,000 gold coins and 1,100 cards.
Players must pay each time they join a Draft Challenge. This is not like most other new challenges that the "Clash of Clans" developer introduces which allow players to play their first tournament without paying.
The game starts with a player selecting one out of two random cards until four cards are collected. The remaining four cards are given to the opponent.
The opponent does the same to you. Both players wind up with eight cards, four they selected and four cards not picked by their opponent. This means that each player knows four cards that their opponent holds. The challenge allows players to dump bad cards on their opponents which can generate entertaining responses in "Clash Royale".
