Travel Fimmel who starred in the popular show "Vikings" didn't end his career after having been killed in the fourth season as Ragnar Lothbrok. While this mighty warrior gets to feast in eternity in Valhalla, the actor Fimmel has continued its work with a new TV show lined up for him.
He has been developing his own show where he wrote the story and executively produced for it as well. He has got into a deal with the A & E cable network with his new anti-hero anthology series which will feature the most legendary and infamous characters. According to Cinema Blend, the first instalment of his project will feature a notorious gunslinger and a professional badass named Wyatt Earp that he will also be portraying.
Fimmel also planned that its follow - up seasons will focus on the other figures of history with questionable moral codes. In his upcoming show, Wyatt Earp's life will be focused more on and also with his complex relationship with other Wild West figures. Fimmel's goal with his TV show is to shake off what Hollywood has placed over the history's most complex icons and show the viewers who they really were.
During its first few episodes, Earp will show the real story on what had happened in the legendary OK Corral Gunfight where he was heavily involved. According to Fimmel, he has always been fascinated with the people's motivation on transgressions and scandalous journey. He wanted to re-examine stories that people think they knew already without rose-colored glasses and audience has to decide themselves if characters like Wyatt Earp was a sinner or a victim of circumstances, as per Screen Crush.
The show is definitely worth to watch especially if it turns a legit series in the cable network. The show is expected to feature one of those scenes from OK Corral which Fimmel has made his own version of.
