On Election Day, Americans around the country will cast their vote for who they want to see as the next President of the United States. As the nation votes, how will Mitt Romney and Barack Obama spend election day?
MSN reported that Mitt Romney is making final visits to Ohio and Pennsylvania today in order to gain any voters that are still undecided in those key states. Barack Obama, will reportedly be home in Chicago during Election Day.
For Romney to win the Presidency he will likely need to win Ohio. MSN reported that if he loses Ohio then he will need to win a state like Pennsylvania to win the Presidency.
"I can't imagine an election being won or lost by, let's say, a few hundred votes and you spent your day sitting around," Romney said to radio station WRVA, in Richmond reported The Chicago Tribune. "I mean, you'd say to yourself, 'Holy cow, why didn't I keep working?' And so I'm going to make sure I never have to look back with anything other than the greatest degree of satisfaction on this whole campaign."
Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan is voting in Janesville, Wisconsin at the Hedberg Public Library.
Obama voted early so today he is relaxing around his Chicago home in Hyde Park, doing satellite interviews and playing basketball, MSN reported. Obama is haing an event in Chicago at McCormick Place at Lakeside Center. Vice President Biden is voting at home in Wilmington, Delaware today, MSN reported, before he heads to Chicago.
The Chicago Tribune quoted Obama saying, "I also want to say to Gov. Romney, 'Congratulations on a spirited campaign.' I know his supporters are just as engaged, just as enthusiastic and working just as hard today."
