Election Results 2012: Where to Watch Coverage, Live Streams

Voters line up around the nation today exercising their right to vote. After voting is completed, America will find out who will be the next President of the United States. Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. Live election day coverage won't be difficult to find as TV networks across will all be showcasing the results and covering the race.

The Associated Press reported, "Virtually all of the media organizations covering the election promise a huge amount of information available online, from interactive maps that display state-by-state results to data from exit polls.

It's expected to be a big night for social media, and news organizations say they will monitor the conversations and have their own journalists actively participate."

Here's a few highlights of where to watch what:

TV:

NBC will be turning New York's Rockefeller Center skating rink into a map of the U.S. where they will cover as the results come in. The AP reports, "ABC's Brian Williams is the sole returning anchor from past Election Nights among the top three networks. David Gregory and Savannah Guthrie will join him, with anchor emeritus Tom Brokaw talking about trends and history. Chuck Todd will fill the nuts-and-bolts-numbers role handled memorably by the late Tim Russert. NBC will live stream its coverage on various platforms, including Facebook."

CNN's coverage will be extensive with Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper as anchors. The AP reported that they will have 10 analysts and 29 reported dispatched around the country.

On MSNBC, Rachel Maddow and the prime-time team will cover the election from the Democracy Plaza at Rockafeller Center.
