The midseason premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will immediately follow the end of the latest episode, with Jo finally telling Alex the truth, that Jo is not her real name as she is trying to hide from the abusive man she was married to. The episode will also feature three female doctors - Jo, Arizona, and Bailey - on their way to a maximum prison.
According to TV Guide the three are going there to assist as a 16-year-old girl serving a life sentence in giving birth. It will be both funny and scary for the three, who will have to deal with an environment from the hospital they are used to.
The site also reports that though there will be some information revealed about Alex, it seems that fans will have to wait until February 2 to know if Alex will go to prison or not. There is, of course, a chance that he will take a plea deal, but nothing is set in stone as of now.
There's also some speculation on whether Jo will become pregnant this season. This is because, according to TV Line, actress Camilla Luddington, who plays her character, is pregnant in real-life to her first child, and is expected to give birth in the coming spring.
Luddington says that as of now, there is nothing on the table to indicate that Jo will get pregnant anytime soon, but she is also quick to point out that with several episodes left in the season, there may still be a chance that it could happen.
According to Buddy TV, the particular episode, entitled " You Can Look (But You'd Better Not Touch)", is a celebration of women, with most speaking roles going to the women characters of "Grey's Anatomy." It will air on January 26 on ABC.
