The last piece of downloadable content for "GTA 5 Online" from 2016 has finally been released by Rockstar for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Players can now purchase the brand new Dewbauchee Spectre sports car from Benny's Original Motor Works shop for $599,000.
"This two-door sports coupe is at its heart the gold standard for exclusivity, and Benny is on hand to strip it down to its core before reassembling it as a lightweight, super customizable beast", reads the description by Rockstar on their website. They have also released a new game mode for Adversary Mode called "Collection Time", where the objective will be to pick your opponents in order to rack up some wins.
It was initially thought that the new mode would be called "Pointless", but it turns that it could just have been a codename for Collection Time. Benny's shop will also be offering 25 percent discounts on upgrades that can be used on both the old and new cars.
This promo will only be until January 30, so players who want this can take advantage of this and have their cars upgraded while they still can. Additionally, the "Executive Upgrade" will also be giving out some discounts. This allows players to make upgrades from their personal garage.
Moreover, the holiday spirit still seems to be lingering in the heart of developer Rockstar as they will be doubling the amount of GTA$ and RP for the Online Biker Clubhouse Contracts and Special Vehicle Works which will also run until January 30. Some of the other items that have will be marked down until the end of January include Executive Garage renovations, Biker Business Properties, all import/export tattoos, and Executive Custom Auto Shop renovations.
Rockstar has also announced a new premium race for online mode called "Chiliad." This is a stunt race that gives a generous amount of GTA$ to those who manage to finish in the top three. Those who don't manage to place in the top three will still walk away with some RP for participating.
"Grand Theft Auto 5" was originally released back in 2013 and continues to sell well nearly 4 years later. According to a report by Gamespot, GTA 5 was the top selling title in the U.K. beating out the likes of "FIFA 17" and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."
