Michael Gross Film 'Tremors 6' Happening, Movie Currently On The Works

"Tremors 6" is happening! This was announced by Michael Gross on his Facebook page. The actor who has appeared in all the sequels guaranteed that there is going to be a new sequel coming.

He wrote that Universal Studios entertainment told him about the news. He also mentioned Burt Grummer, Jamie Kennedy, and director Don Michael Paul will be part of the upcoming sequel.

"Tremors 5: Bloodline" was released in 2015 on Netflix and from there, the story of "Tremors 6" will follow. Although a lot will say that they did not know about the 2015 release possible income from streaming and rental could have made the producers decide to make another one.

There will be a "Tremors" TV series but still in the works according to Movie Web. Kevin Bacon who played Valentine McKee will reprise his role. How the two projects will be related is yet to be known. Bacon appeared in the original movie and did not play his role again in the sequels. This will be his comeback to the franchise.

No release date was set yet but possible 2018 is a safe assumption. Michael Gross' Facebook page will sure update the fans of the progress of the TV series and "Tremors 6." Dread Central reported that production starts next week based on the FB page of Gross.

The original movie was released in 1990 simply titled "Tremors." In 1996, "Tremors 2: Aftershocks" was released. "Tremors 3: Back to Perfection was dropped in 2001 and in 2004 "Tremors 4: The Legend Begins" was released. "Tremors 5: Bloodline" was seen in 2015.

The monster film's cast includes Kevin Bacon, Finn Carter, Fred Ward, Reba McEntire, and Michael Gross. Despite its low-budgeted sequels, the sequels made money and so from 1990, the franchise continued. Through the years, movies with working titles, "Sand Shark," "Dead Silence," and "Beneath Perfection" gathered followers.

"Tremors 6" will surely revive the fan base that is just waiting for another monster experience. Michael Gross' Facebook page might announce the release date soon.
