Access granted. Emirates Airlines has now opened its luxurious lounges to Economy Class Passengers at an additional cost to reach its superior facilities which are used to be just exclusive to top end vacationers.
The Dubai-based airline emailed its members of the frequent flyer program, Skywards, announcing, "You can now pay to access Emirates lounges at Dubai International Airport, and bring guests who are also traveling on the same flight, for an additional charge."
"So whether you wish to indulge in a delicious meal, catch up on a bit of business, or unwind with a spa treatment - you can now relax in the tranquility of our luxury lounges." The fees differ with the passenger seating or Skywards membership
For the Economy Passenger, an additional pay of $100 for the use of lounge and business lounges, while $200 will get you to the first class lounges. In a report by Khaleej Times, an Emirates Skywards Blue Member will pay $100 to enter Emirates lounges.
Silver Members can enjoy their complementary passes and can tag along with a friend or two for an additional expense. Meanwhile, Gold members can enjoy lounges with their traveling companions, so a friend or family member checked in on your Emirates flight can join you in eligible lounges across the Emirates network, according to their program.
Greater finds are with Platinum members, where they can invite one adult and two minors under the age of 17 accompanied on the same Emirates flight to the First Class Lounge at Dubai International airport and eligible Business Class lounges regardless of their class of travel. For other guests, an additional pay will occur for the use of the lounges.
No matter whether you're flying first class, enterprise class, or economics class, you're surely in for a treat. Emirates lounges include private suites, shower spas and fine dining which offers a wide range of drinks and treats among many others.
