"The Good Place" is now down to its last two episodes and viewers who have started to follow the story are wondering if it will be renewed. The Critics' Choice Television Awards 2016's winner for Most Exciting New Series has the chances of not being canceled.
TV Series Finale reported that the Michael Schur creation is doing well in ratings. After 11 episodes, the afterlife drama shows an average of 1.46 rating in the 18-49 demo. The viewers count reached 5.147 million. Considering this performance, NBC will be renewing the Kristen Bell show "The Good Place."
Renew Cancel TV reported that the show creator believes that the comedy show is best aired on Netflix. According to him, as a writer of the show he thinks that the network structure is beneficial because he is forced to think well about the characters and the flow of the story. For him, Netflix is a good place for the show.
The cast includes D'Arcy Carden, Manny Jacinto, Ted Danson, Willian Jackson Harper, and Jameela Jamil. Kristen Bell show "The Good Place," tells the story of a woman named Eleanor Shellstrop played by Bell with "questionable" morals.
She was killed while being in the business of promoting her products. She woke up and discovered that she has gone to the afterlife and was in the place called "The Good Place." The reason she was in the perfect place was because of her good deeds. She had humanitarian works and helped innocent people to get off from the death row.
She realized that she was erroneously placed in a good place because of somebody similarly named like hers. She met her designated soulmate Chidi (William Jackson Harper). He then helped her to become a better person. Later, she discovered that she was not the only one who was misplaced. The exciting part was when the real Eleanor Shellstrop arrived. Bell's character exposed her secrets later.
Kristen Bell show "The Good Place" is a good story to promote good morals. Stay tuned for NBC's final decision on the fate of the show.
