Fifth Harmony Ex-Member Camila Cabello Tells One Ugly Reason She Disliked Being In the Group

Fans are still in an unbelieving state after Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello left the group. The days following the revelation that the 19-yer-old singer has been filled with controversy. The four members of the group and Cabello had a messy exchange in social media as to the reason of her departure.

However, Lenny Letter shared one reason why the Latina singer left the group. Although she did not affirm it on social media or to the press, it was one factor that led her to give up. She feels, speaking for herself alone like she was being "sexualized." She revealed that they are to appear sexy to attract attention. Cabello does not feel comfortable about the whole thing but she can do nothing. According to her, "Unfortunately, sex sells."

But she is not saying that expressing sexuality is wrong. She told Lena Dunham in the interview, "There's nothing wrong with showing sexuality. If you have that inside, it's just an expression of who you are. If you want to share that with people, that's amazing. I love that."

She said she has to keep a brave front because of the demand of being in the group. This interview came before she left the group. The group's break up was a controversial one. The four other members claimed that they were hurt. It is because when they knew that she plans to leave the group, they initiated a dialogue but she ignored it.

Fifth Harmony came into being through "The X Factor (U.S.)" in 2012 when she was only 15. The singer collaborated with Shawn Mendes on "I Know What You Did Last Summer." She is now preoccupied with her solo career.

TooFab reported that her former band mates are set to perform at the 2017 People's Choice Awards as a quartet. This will be their first performance without her. Their last performance together was during the 2016 American Music Awards. Will Fifth Harmony ex-member Camila Cabello succeed on her own?
