Space X has finally launched ten new satellites on space through the rocket Falcon 9. They had a successful Saturday as they had finally launched rockets for a certain mission. The aerospace designer and manufacturer released a rocket carrying ten satellites into the space for its voice/data mission or the Iridium.
The satellites did not only make into the space but the rocket carrying those has also successfully returned back through landing on a floating platform known to be the drone ship. Last Saturday, it was marked as the seventh successful landing of the Space X program, Digital Trends reported.
It has been reported that Space X has a busy schedule but it has launched 70 books which are worth $10 billion but still it was able to push through the launching. Aside from the commercial consignments, they also haul supplies into the international space station and are also working on capsules that will successfully carry astronauts to their station as well.
In their recent launching of Falcon 9 rockets, the rocket's first stage has touched down upright for only 8 minutes later from take-off. This has been the fourth time that Space X has accomplished in 2016 and has been captured on the company's webcast. According to Musk, who watched from the control room with Iridium's chief executive officer, the mission looks good and has started to deploy ten Iridium satellites, Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The launching of ten satellites has marked completion of its mission. It has been a triple success for them, from launching, drone ship landing, and for the mission completion. It was a relief for the company and a great kick off for the year.
Further, Space X hopes to launch more of 20 to 24 rockets this year. Iridium, being known as Space X largest commercial satellite customers has signed in for more six launches and which are all scheduled for Vadenberg.
