‘Stranger Things’ Season 2: Creators Say New Season Plans In The Bag; Still Exploring Possible Stories

"Stranger Things" season 2 has been assured by the show creators to come. This has created a sigh of relief for the fans that were enamored with the Netflix show. The network officially ordered for another season.

The setting for the upcoming season will be 1984 consisting of nine episodes. No specific date for 2017 has been set for the season 2 premiere. It is expected to compete with "Game of Thrones."

Matt and Ross Duffer who are known as the Duffer Brothers will both return. The same with executive producers Dan Cohen and Shawn Levy. The teaser has been released listing the episode titles for season 2. They are "Mad Max", "The Palace", "The Boy Who Came Back to Life", "The Pumpkin Patch", "The Storm", "The Pollywog", "The Secret Cabin", "The Brain," and "The Lost Brother"

Matt Duffer gave updates about "Stranger Things" season 2 He hinted that they still want to do something for season 1. The case of the missing Will in season 1 will be resolved. So far the additional hint is that they are not to divulge further details according to Inquisitr.

Shawn Levy also hinted that their plans for season two are in the bag. Levy said that it is definite that there will be a new season coming. The set of characters for the first season will be retained. He also eased that there will be more mysteries at the season 1 finale. Furthermore, they are also exploring stories for future use.

Vanity Fair reported that Shawn Levy revealed that the new season will be darker and bigger. Aside from the original cast, there will be additions as Levy says; there will be a bigger cast. Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp , and Millie Bobby Brown are returning. Sean Astin and Paul Reiser will be joining the cast. Stay tuned for "Stranger Things" release date news.
