At Apple's highly anticipated event Tuesday Oct. 23 in San Jose, California the powerhouse company not only unveiled the awaited iPad Mini but they also unveiled a new MacBook Pro.
CNET reported that Apple announced a new 13-inch MacBook Pro that has Retina Display. It is a smaller version that previous MacBook Pros and comes with "dual Thunderbolt I/O connectors, as well as an SD card slot and HDMI out port found on the bigger 15-inch model," reported CNET.
CNET also reported that it is 20 percent skinnier than all other MacBooks.
Engadget reported that the MacBook Pro which starts at $1699 starts shipping today. They also commented on the laptops fabulous retina quality.
"Compared to the 1,280 x 800 resolution of the non-Retina 13-inch MBP, the new display is particularly stunning. Text has never looked more crisp, and colors are stupendously vibrant," reported Engadget.
CNET reported that the computer will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of memory.
The old MacBook Pro will still be sold at Apple starting at $1,199.
TechCruch reported that the FaceTime HD camera will include speakers, a backlit keyboard, stereo mics and a "patented glass multitouch trackpad." The added that the options include an "Intel Core i5 or i7 and up to 768GB of SSD storage. Apple states the battery will last up to 7-hours."
The iPad Mini was also announced after months of speculation, rumors and hints with Apple finally announcing it at their event a long with the new MacBook Pro. The iPad Mini will start at $329.
